Welcome to the After School Arts Program (ASAP)

The After School Arts Program (ASAP) provides mentorship and professional guidance to youth (14-17) interested in media arts, with a lens on filmmaking and journalism. Through the transformative mediums of filmmaking, reading, writing, and communication arts, ASAP cultivates a nurturing environment where students can explore their creativity and develop essential 21st-century skills through professional mentorship and guidance by industry professionals.

ASAP is empowering youth voices with the power of cultural responsive storytelling, a robust film production and journalism curriculum, led by BIPOC facilitators.
